I've always had a slight obsession with everything Christmas. From the decor, to the songs, everything is so joyful and fun! One of the best parts is being about to gather with my friends and family.
Every year, my friends and I throw a Friendsmas party (get it... Friends + Christmas lol) and we've always played the same games. Now that we're above the drinking age, we can get even more creative with the games we play!
I've gathered some of my favorite adult Christmas games that we love or are dying to try out. This are all super simple, but I guarantee they will be hilarious to play!

BEST ADULT CHRISTMAS GAMES:
1. Candy Canes
This is an easy one to play because it's just a new twist on a favorite!
Spoons.. but instead of using spoons, use candy canes! Super simple but a fun holiday edition of a game everyone knows and loves.
2. Christmas Movie Trivia
Find out who has the most Christmas movie knowledge by playing Christmas Movie Trivia. Split into teams, and the losers have to drink!

3. Christmas Charades
Charades always gets people super excited and into the game. It's one of my favorite games to play with friends because people get so into it!
Come up with some popular Christmas songs, phrases or movies to act out.
Also, an easy way to play Charades is with the app Heads Up. Definitely check it out.. they might even have a holiday edition!
4. Christmas Movie Drinking Game
Pick a classic Christmas movie, choose a few key phrases or words that are specific to the movie, and drink every time you hear them!
Make sure to serve some holiday drinks to sip on so you're really in the Christmas spirit.
5. White Elephant
Alright this one is pretty obvious, but I LOVE white elephant.

6. Ornament Guess
This one is pretty simple. When your friends come in to your house, have them guess the number of ornaments on the tree and the closet person wins!
You could make this a drinking game if you wanted to by making the person that was the farthest off drink a huge shot or weird drink!
P.S. This one would only work if you count the number of ornaments you have on the tree. Definitely do this as you put up your tree this year, it might surprise you how many you have!
7. Christmas Mad Libs
I used to love Mad Libs growing up but never thought to do them as an adult.
Create some holiday themed Mad Libs, put a naughty twist on them, and you've got a great adult Christmas game!
8. "Favorite Things" Gift Exchange
Instead of bringing funny gag gifts like you would during a white elephant gift exchange, bring low-cost items that you actually like and use in your day-to-day lives. This is a more positive twist on a classic Christmas tradition and this way people will actually get items they will use, instead of just throwing out.
9. The Caroling Challenge
Gather a list of Christmas lyrics from some of the most classic Christmas carols and see how many each team can guess in one minute.
OR to make it even more hilarious, sing the tunes instead! As an extremely tone-deaf singer, I know this would get interesting ?
10. Gingerbread House Competition
This is definitely a more wholesome thing to do with friends, but I thought I'd include it because I would totally do this for a girl's night!
Decorate gingerbread houses and have a judge rate each one to see whose comes out on top.
11. Gift Wrap Game
I've never heard of this one before, but man does it sound fun!
Basically, the challenge is to see who can wrap a present the fastest. BUT with a twist... You have to work in pairs and each person can only use one hand! I can already imagine how horrible my friends would be at this and how much we would be laughing.
12. Christmas "Would You Rather?" Adult Version
A holiday (and adult) spin on a classic party game. Who doesn't love playing Would You Rather? And to make it even better... a Christmas version!

13. Elf Drinking Game
