We can easily give this room the award of ugliest space before we renovated it and now...the cutest lil' nursery! This room is smallllll. I really wanted to maximize the space and almost trick the eye into appearing larger than it is.

Let me show you the before...

BEFORE

Yikes.

And yikes again. 😅

Can you now understand why it got the award of ugliest room in the house?! It was BAD.

I loved the idea of completely paneling this room with bead board. Not only is bead board pretty affordable, but I thought doing some tone-on-tone paint for the walls and molding could be pretty dramatic.

I tested all types of paint colors out but ultimately ended up going with Seaside Sand by Benjamin Moore

AFTER

The color of the room is PERFECTION. Like I actually don't think there is a better pink out there for a nursery. It's pink, but almost a little brown...not too in your face.

We refinished the floors, added some beautiful lighting, a new door, and oh so cute furniture and called it a day in here!

The rug was a last minute purchase from Amazon but it's now one of my favorite parts of the home! It was really affordable and adds the perfect amount of texture to the space.
