yogurt bark

For the last few weeks, I have been dreaming up this frozen greek yogurt dessert and decided to finally make it last Sunday. Now that I have had it for a week, I can say that it is so DANG good. Even my sister is obsessed with it. You have to try it!

It's the perfect combination of dessert for after dinner but also the perfect quick snack to grab when the 2:30 munchies hit.

I have had a lot of people make this and added even more goodies to it like chocolate chips or bananas. Definitely experiment with different things you have at home!

I also thought this would be such a great dessert to make for any US holidays like 4th of July or Memorial Day. Add in some blueberries and it will be perfect!

This recipe is extremely quick to make...the hardest part is waiting for it to freeze hah!

Frozen Greek Yogurt Bark Ingredients:

  • Tub of Greek Yogurt
  • 2 TBSP of Honey
  • 1 TBSP of Vanilla Extract
  • Spoonfuls of Strawberry Jam
  • Fresh Cut Strawberries
  • Granola

Step 1: Line a pan with parchment paper.

Line a baking sheet that has sides with some parchment paper. This will make it much easier to grab out then if you just put the greek yogurt directly on the pan.

I can be tricky to keep the parchment paper from sliding everywhere so I had one hand on the parchment paper and one hand scooping out the greek yogurt.

Step 2: Mix together greek yogurt, honey, + vanilla and spread onto baking sheet.

In a mixing bowl, combine the tub of greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla. To be honest, I just plopped random amounts of honey and vanilla extract into this so give it a little finger licking test to make sure it tastes good to you.

I love things sweet so I added a lot of honey. For the greek yogurt, I used the Light & Fit Greek Yogurt in vanilla. It was delicious but you could do any flavor you want!

Step 3: Plop spoonfuls of jam onto yogurt and spread out.

This makes it delish!! I was trying to be as healthy as possible, so I added some sugar free strawberry jam. It was kind of hard to spread, so just work it in. It will eventually become easier to spread as you mix it around a lot.

Step 4: Add the strawberries.

Clean and cut some fresh strawberries. Actually, I bet you could use frozen strawberries too but it might be a little thick if they're not precut.

Isn't it looking so pretty?!

Step 5: Sprinkle granola over the top.

Sprinkle granola of choice over top of the strawberries.

Step 6: Freeze!

Pop it in the freezer and let it sit until it is fully frozen (duh haha). I just let it sit overnight.

It DOES melt like a popsicle so you would want to eat it pretty quickly. Otherwise, you'll just have standard yogurt (that will still taste really dang good).

The best way to keep parchment paper in place is to spray it with cooking spray, not too much but just enough to hold it in place. Hope this helps you next time 🙂 thanks for sharing this recipe!
