I am a morning person, and I absolutely love getting up at 5:00 am every day. It gives me a full day before I even start work.
If you're anything like me and want to become an early riser, here are some of the things that I swear by that I do or products that I use to help me get up this early!
This post is all about how to become a morning person.
HOW I WAKE UP
First and foremost, I bought an actual alarm clock which was game-changing. I was finding that if I had my alarm on my phone, I would turn the alarm off on the phone and then scroll through social media.
The alarm clock I bought from Amazon turns on and off, goes with my decor, and it really just saves me from that temptation of even looking at my phone in the morning.
I'm a snoozer girl, so I set my alarm for 5:00 am, but I know that I do two Snoozes, which means that I'm actually getting out of bed at 5:18. That gives me the perfect amount of time to brush my teeth, put on my workout outfit, and drive to a workout.
CLOTHING HACK THAT SAVES TIME
I'm also a workout enthusiast, so I bought six workout sets on Amazon. They're my favorite, and I got them in all different colors. This way, I never have to think about my workout outfit. I can just easily grab it and get on my way.
MY MORNING CHORES
After my workout, I unload the dishwasher from the previous night. This way, I have a clean dishwasher when I get home from work, and I can just easily throw things in there. And it keeps my apartment way cleaner.
Lastly, in the morning, I put a load of laundry in three times a week. We bought an laundry hamper that has three different sections for darks, mediums, lights, or whites.
So in the morning, I'll just grab it and put it in the washing machine. And then when I get home from work, I'll move it from the washing machine to the dryer. And before I go to bed, I'll hang it up.
