About the job

The Interior Designer & Project Manager position will work hand-in-hand with Sophia and will serve as the lead project manager for the home design business at BSL. They will work together to bring the BSL Studios aesthetic to life on-time and in-budget.

Core Functions:

• Project Management

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Sophia as Head of Design to bring the BSL Studios vision to life in the home design space

• Develop relationships with all trades and clients
• Provide support with all phases of the design process, including: CAD drawings, sourcing, procurement, scheduling, and negotiating
• Create and launch the BSL Studios client process
• Work closely with clients throughout the entirety of a project
• Create and present presentation boards including CAD drawings, mood boards, FF&E, surface materials, color palettes, and lighting
• Organize shipping and returns of product for all BSL Studios projects
• Generate plan specifications based on client needs and contract requirements
• Provide design support and administration during completion and execution of design concepts
• Source and work with outside vendors to procure and coordinate all furniture, fixtures, & accessories
• Work with Head of Partnerships to create meaningful content for BSL house restorations
• Manage costs across all ongoing projects
• Create client invoices and manage payments
• Day-to-day restoration home project upkeep (scheduling lawn care services, snow removal, etc.)

Requirements

• Autocad proficiency

• Adobe Suite & Canva Pro efficiency
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to multitask multiple projects at once while adhering to tight deadlines
• Consistently takes initiative and owns each project or task
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external partners, which include employees, trades, clients, etc.

Job Type:

• Hybrid (MTW in office, TH/F remote)
• Occasional install may fall under TH/F, but would be rare
• Salary: $50,000-$55,000 based on experience
