About the job
The Product Manager will manage product development, logistics and details to drive the success of all BSL products, with a focus on the planner business.
Core Functions:
- Drive all aspects of BSL product with a focus on the planner business
- Build new brand under the BSL umbrella (planner-specific brand we are rolling out - currently found here - https://shop.bysophialee.com/)
- Oversee product launches, logistics and marketing campaigns
- Conduct market research and present growth opportunities
Responsibilities:
- Oversee planner business in current state + build out new brand (website, branding) to completely up-level current planner business
- Diversify planner product offerings by developing new variants based on customer feedback and industry trends
- Expand digital planner business and develop app subscription model
- Coordinate product development, logistics and order fulfillment
- Oversee planner customer service
- Evaluate existing pain points and conduct market research to improve current product and identify growth opportunities
- Set KPIs specific to the planners and develop strategies and/or adjust tactics that ensure KPIs are met
- Work with Head of Business & Brand Development to build strong brand awareness and customer acquisition
- Lead monthly strategy meetings to identify current marketing objectives and tactics and how they should be accomplished
- Lead special initiatives such as influencer and PR gifting, retail partnerships, paid socials, and content creation in regards to products
- Collaborate with Head of Business & Brand Development to analyze social insights in relationship to marketing KPIs and sales
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in product management
- Experience with Shopify and e-commerce
- Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze complex data to make meaningful and actionable decisions
- Ability to think both creatively and critically - Willing to think outside the box while also evaluating alternative solutions and best practices in order to make strategic decisions
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to multitask multiple projects at once while adhering to tight deadlines
- Type-A organization style is crucial to ensure deep understanding of the BSL consumer
- Salary = $55,000-$70,000 based on experience
